Climate

In Naturns the sun shines almost all the time, in every season!
On average there are 315 sunny days a year. Almost as much as in Sicily.

The precipitation level of Naturns is the lowest in the eastern Alps. In the neighbouring villages, which are only few kilometres away, the precipitation levels are already slightly higher.

The alps & the palm trees:
We have got everything from a Mediterranean climate in the low valleys (350m above sea level) with palm trees, cypresses, kiwi fruits, magnolias, and vineyards to green meadows with beautiful flowers, mountain farms (1200m above sea level), and impressive mountains (3000m) of the Ortlergruppe with white > glaciers.
