In no other part of Europe is it possible to find as many castles and manor-houses as in South Tyrol. One of the most remarkable castles is Schloss Juval, which dominates Naturns.

The castle, which is owned by the world-famous alpinist Reinhold Messner, is open to the public. It is both a kind of museum, where you can relive the past, and an exciting place where to enjoy the present.
