Vinoth Rohan

Vinoth was born in Balapituga in Sri Lanka.After compulsory schooling he studied the doctrine of Ayurveda at the Institute Aida Ayurveda & Holistic for several years. In 2004 he furthered his education of "Kaya Chikithsa" (Ayurvedic diagnosis) at the Malewana Sri Ganissara Ayurvedic University in Beruwala in Sri Lanka
for another year. Vinoth had worked in an Ayurvedic centre in Sri Lanka for more than 10 years.

He exclusively uses pure herbal oil directly imported from Sri Lanka for all treatments!Before each treatment Vinoth implements a constitutional analysis of the guest:

This type of massage is sensed as very comfortable devotion by the body since the massage direction is identical to that of the blood circulation. The synchronous massage movements provide you with deep relaxation and a comfortable feeling of wellbeing. This is a very gentle massage, which stimulates detoxification of the body.Waste products are disposed of and the lymphatic flow is stimulated. Shiro Basti (oil treatment at the head)

During Shiro Basti the Ayurvedic oil is kept on the head at a certain temperature for a determined period of time. It starts with a head pour during which oil tuned to the Dosha dysfunction is poured into a cap open at the top. The oil is left on the head until the patient's eyes starts to water slightly. Just like the forehead oil pour, Shiro Basti also provides deep relaxation and loosening of the musculature, especially in the shoulder and neck areas.Treatment areas of this therapy include migraine, anxiety attacks, high blood pressure, chronic headaches and insomnia.

Kati Basti (oil back treatment)

Kati Basti is a local bodily oil bath with a long duration afterwards.Precious herbal oils can thereby penetrate into deeper structures and take effect.An agreeable, warming and healing back treatment with accumulated oil. Very effective in case of local disharmonies (muscle tensions, strain traumas, and similar). This treatment should be repeated several times.

Udvartana (peeling and detoxification massage)

The body is massaged and peeled at the same time with a mix of barley flour and an organic sesame oil. Before the treatment the oil is briefly heated up to 100 degrees Celsius and then massaged in at body temperature.Udvartana stimulates the metabolism and thereby achieves strong detoxification.
