We deliberately avoid flavour enhancers, preservatives and other artificial additives and use only the best herbs, oils and vinegar from the region - since the origin of our food is of the highest importance to us in our top restaurant in South Tyrol.

The Pinot Noir grapes for our "Urscheler" grow on the sunny slope just behind the Preidlhof - a typical red wine that goes perfectly with the 7-course menu in our gourmet and wine hotel in South Tyrol near Merano. Our senior chef will also be happy to serve you a "Vinschgauer Marilleler", a regional schnapps speciality, which he distils for you lovingly by hand in our in-house distillery.
